College Guidance Counselor

The aim of the College Guidance Counselor is to assist students with university selection and career options.  Students and parents can ask for an appointment for individual guidance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. every day except Friday.

The following services and materials are available to the students following both the National or IB curriculum at American College Arcus for information about universities, the application process and career options: 

  • UCAS electronic application assistance for UK universities
  • Application assistance for admissions to universities around the world
  • University Prospectuses/Catalogues
  • Books and magazines regarding guidance for the processes of how and where to apply to university
  • Information sessions about Bulgarian and foreign universities in the school auditorium
  • Information on standardized tests, including TOEFL, SATs, and ACT tests
  • Preparation and issuing of three official academic transcripts
  • Writing a personal statement.
